Townsend’s solitaires are birds normally found in the Rocky Mountains. However, they are sometimes found here on Mount Magazine. Meet the park interpreter at the first parking area on Overlook Drive as he shares birding tips while searching for these rare visitors and other winter wildlife. Binoculars are available.
