Pinnacle Mountain Summer Workshop Series- Water Snakes Pinnacle Mountain State Park

Admission: Free

Meeting Place: Visitor Center

The Big Maumelle and Little Maumelle Rivers are home to a wide variety of snakes including water snakes.  Visitors to our State Parks often fear water snakes believing them to be the venomous cottonmouth.  The herpetology staff from the University of Arkansas- Little Rock will be hosting this special presentation on water snakes, describing the differences between these snakes and the values of these misunderstood animals.  Live water snakes may be included at this presentation today.  All ages are welcome, but program is best suited for visitors 18 years of age and over.
