Meeting Place: Parking Lot @ Posion Springs Battleground State Park
Since 1996, the national Civil War Trust has sponsored Park Day, an annual hands-on preservation event to help Civil War battlefields and historic sites take on maintenance projects large and small.
This event hosted by Poison Springs Battle Ground State Park is an excellent opportunity to bring Civil War enthusiasts together in an effort to help keep our nation’s Civil War heritage not only preserved, but pristine.
Meeting place: Poison Springs Battleground State Park, On State Hwy 76 between Bluff City and Camden Arkansas
Planned Activities: Park clean up - rake leaves, pick up trash, and trim brush back on the trail. Participants should bring work gloves and wear sturdy shoes. The park will provide tools and water, sodas, and sports drinks.
