Meeting Place: Oil Field Park

Have you ever had a question that you would like to ask a famous person from America’s past?  Chautauqua is a living history program where each night a different character comes to life on the stage. They tell their story then take questions, and after the character speaks the scholar behind the character comes out to answer questions that the character couldn’t or wouldn’t answer. The 2014 theme is “American Literature: A Travel Guide for the Mind.” Join poet Emily Dickinson tell of her life and why she composed the works she did.
