Meeting Place: Visitor Center Classroom

Dandelions, rose verbena, zebra swallowtails, and duskywings are harbingers of spring you may see during your park visit. Spring wildflowers and butterflies go together like peanut butter and jelly. Meet Lori Spencer, author of The Diana Fritillary, Arkansas's State Butterfly, and Arkansas Butterflies and Moths in the visitor center classroom for a colorful program on the park's winged wonders. A book signing follows this program. Books are available for sale in the park's gift shops.
