Mountain Rendezvous: Opossums - Then and Now Petit Jean State Park

Admission: Free

Meeting Place: Chimney in the CCC Field (Ball Field)

Opossums were used in many different ways in the early 1800s, such as opossum stew and hide tanning. Today, we don’t have many uses for opossums, or do we? Join Park Interpreter Mystina for an encounter with a live opossum as you discover the truth instead of the many misconceptions of these fascinating critters and then find out how opossums help us every day.
