Living with Black Bears

Lake Fort Smith State Park

June 4, 2013
3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Meeting Place: Visitor Center
Admission: Free

Because of its black bear population, Arkansas was once known as the “Bear State” and a healthy population of these noble creatures still inhabits our area. Join us at the visitor center as we discuss Ursus Americanus and watch a documentary film detailing their history, biology, and ways to manage black bear encounters.
