About this Event

Admission: Free

This museum event is a free and unique experience where students engage in several specially crafted activities centered on early life in Arkansas, from statehood to World War II. Students will rotate between 6 different interactive stations where they will play old timey games, follow the life and adventures of a washer woman, grind corn the old fashioned way, meet a beekeeper and observe an active hive of bees, cook outdoors, and much more. Events highlight the museum’s mission of the preservation and interpretation of cotton, agriculture, and plantation life. Space is limited and reservations are required.
