About this Event

Admission: $2.16 students, $2.97 adults, preregistration is required

Meeting Place: Visitor Center

This event was specifically designed for homeschoolers to learn about the American Indians who lived at the Parkin Archeological Site. Students will receive a guided tour of the remains of the Casqui Village and learn about the high quality of pottery that was found in the excavations. They will also discover facts about the daily lives of the American Indians including the food they ate, tools and weapons they used, and their interaction with the Hernando de Soto expedition. Parents and guardians: Contact the park for reservations.
