Meeting Place: Brown Springs Picnic Area

Before 1836 the Arkansas River valley above Little Rock was undergoing a period from being wild and unexplored to being settled. Native Americans, hunters, soldiers, and explorers were the first to see Mount Magazine. Visit an encampment of living historians as they demonstrate firearms, clothing, cooking, camping equipment and survival skills as they really rough-it. Contact the park for further details.
