Meeting Place: James A. Gaston Visitor Center
Join a park interpreter for a scenic kayak tour along the Jimmy’s Creek leg of Bull Shoals Lake as we observe wildlife of the Ozarks. Plan on about 4 hours of paddling time. This is also where the sink hole is that creates the Big Spring in the park, generating 29 million gallons of water per day (maybe we can see it). Wear clothing suitable for the weather and shoes that can get wet, (waterproof boots or sandals). Also bring a lunch and something to drink. Sorry, the program is not available for any child under 12 yrs. old. Space is limited, so register soon. You must pre-register at the James A. Gaston Visitor Center by calling 870-445-3629 or stopping in at the center to sign up.
