Frogs, Toads and Turtles

Cossatot River State Park-Natural Area

April 28, 2013
1 p.m. - 2 p.m.
Meeting Place: Visitor Center Exhibit Room
Admission: Free

Frogs, toads and turtles are alike in some ways. All three are cold-blooded, which means their body temperature is the same as the air around them. To stay cool, they burrow underground or underwater. To warm up, they bask in the sun. They are also different in some ways. Join Park Interpreter Flanary as we explore the amazing world of frogs, toads, and turtles. We even get to see how turtles eat.
