About this Event
November 3, 2012 @ 6:30 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Fall Star Party Woolly Hollow State Park

Admission: Free

Meeting Place: Swim Beach

If you want to know about the night sky this event is a “must see.” This event is for everyone, from experienced to amateur to novice. Numerous telescopes will be set up on the beach area for night sky viewing, with astronomers explaining the different celestial bodies. You may walk to one telescope and see Jupiter and then go to another telescope and see a “far away” galaxy. Viewing will begin at dark. Flashlights are permitted, but not encouraged (they can disturb your own and others' night vision). Please put red cellophane over flashlights if you bring them.
