Exploring the Night Sky

Mississippi River State Park

March 22, 2013
8 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Meeting Place: Beech Point Swim Beech
Admission: Free

Bring your blanket or lawn chair and join a park interpreter as we explore the night sky. Weather permitting, thousands of stars, Jupiter and the moon will be visible for us to explore. Discover how different cultures from this area used the night sky as a calendar, a compass, and a way to share their stories. Bring binoculars if you have them and don’t forget your insect repellent.
