Meeting Place: DeGray Lodge
The 34th Annual Eagles Et Cetera Festival is the chance for guests of all ages to see our national symbol both in person and wild in its natural environment. The Little Rock Zoo will be on hand with more than a dozen live birds of prey including owls, hawks, falcons, and, of course, Lynn the bald eagle. More live birds will be here to experience during Master Falconer Rusty Scarborough's falconry demonstrations and for Raptor Rehab of Central Arkansas's rehabilitaton (and possibly live release) program.
For those wishing to immerse themselves in the full outdoor experience, there will be more than a dozen eagle tours scouting beautiful DeGray Lake in search of eagles, loons, coots, herons, and other waterfowl and wildlife. Guided owl prowls and bird hikes will cover the terrestrial search for wildlife as well.
Or, stay indoors and take advantage of the day-long activity room on saturday or any of the many special presentations offered all weekend.
