History is in the air at Prairie Grove Battlefield; let yourself be taken back to the days of the Civil War. Activities this weekend cover the story of the common soldiers of Trans-Mississippi Army. Visitors are encouraged to explore the grounds and talk with reenactors about camp life. Presented by volunteer reenactors from the Prairie Grove Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) Thomas C. Hindman Camp #656.
