Cane Pole Fishing

Pinnacle Mountain State Park

March 30, 2013
4 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Meeting Place: Kingfisher Trailhead
Admission: Free

Do you love to fish? How about going fishing the old-fashioned way with cane poles? River cane, a common plant found at the park, was once used by children of the 1800s to fish. We are walking a short distance down the Kingfisher Trail before throwing our lines in the water to see what we can catch. Bait and poles are provided.
