Noon Program: Learn to weave a bookmark on a cardboard loom, by Jeanette Larson. You’ll make your own loom with a piece of cardboard, then wrap the loom with cotton thread and then weave colored yarns in a pattern of your choosing to make a small weaving all your own. Most people will not finish their bookmark in this program, but it makes a great project for the ride home. You get to take your loom, thread, and enough yarn to finish your bookmark with you. This program lasts about 30 minutes.
Young Pioneers for children ages 7-14 at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m.
